GC 3D scan is located in Helensvale on the Gold Coast QLD Australia. We do not accept walk-ins. Our full address is provided upon confirmation of booking.

We prefer to have clients come to us to get scanned but the 3D Scanner is transportable. Depending on the scale and time frame of the job/event, the scanner can be transported anywhere in Australia.

The process of turning the 100 photos that the scanner captures into a 3D model does have some limitations. We provide an information document ahead of time to anyone getting 3D scanned. The document lists things to avoid and suggestions for a better looking scan.

If you have any questions that aren’t answered in the document or if you need a scan that includes an item that is on the list of things to be avoided, we can asses the item in question and see if it is possible to include it within the scan.

Getting a scan is as simple as getting your photo taken, since the scanner is made up of 100 cameras.

You will only have to hold a pose for a few seconds and you will be able to try several poses and pick the ones you like most.

We offer 2D and 3D retouching services for our scans.

2D Retouching changes the image on the figure e.g. changing colours of clothing or removing skin imperfections.

3D Retouching changes the shape of the figure e.g. slimming down the figure or making adjustments to the pose.

Usually it will take 4 to 6 weeks for you to receive your 3D printed figure.

Sizes:

Each printing material has different size constraints for a single piece print. Large scans can be split into multiple parts and printed separately then be assembled to create a larger final piece.

Materials:

Full Colour Plastic: (max 49cm tall) High definition colour print.
Full Colour Sandstone: (max 37cm tall) Cost effective colour print.
One Colour Plastic: (max 70cm tall) Translucent, White, Black, Grey, Purple, Pink, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue
Printed Metal: (max 76cm tall) Large figures can have matte or polished finishes with a variety of metal coatings.
Cast Precious Metals: (max 10cm tall) Small figures can be cast out of various precious metals. Depending on the metal can have different coating and finishing options.
Crystal: (max 20cm tall) A 3D laser etched figure inside a cube of Crystal.
Holographic Photo Frame: (20cm screen – diagonal) Convenient for displaying multiple scans.

We do not take returns or provide refunds or exchanges of figures.

If your figure arrived damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery to resolve the issue.

Specific terms relating to our services rendered and the provided figures or files are included in the scope of work contract that is agreed upon before scanning begins.

• Very small details may not be captured during the scan or may be too small once scaled down to the size of your figure.

• Some details may not be as crisp as real life counterparts. Ink can bleed and layer lines may interfere with small details.

• Colours may not be an exact match to their real life counterparts.
